CEO Marketing Cloud and Chief Analytics Officer, Salesforce

Bob Stutz is recognized globally as one of the leading experts on CRM, and brings more than 20 years of business applications development experience to Salesforce. As CEO of Marketing Cloud and Chief Analytics Officer, Bob is responsible for driving all aspects of the company’s Marketing Cloud and Analytics Cloud business, including product strategy, management, marketing, engineering and distribution.

Prior to Salesforce, Bob was corporate vice president of Microsoft Dynamics. In this role, he was responsible for defining its long-term strategy and technology direction for the company’s CRM portfolio, including the development and delivery of on-premises and cloud versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM worldwide.

Before joining Microsoft, Stutz was senior vice president and general manager of Business Solutions at HP, where he was responsible for business applications for the financial services, communications, airlines and healthcare industries, as well as HP’s relationship with global partners such as Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. and CapGemini. Prior to that, Stutz held several executive roles over five and a half years at SAP, including stints as executive vice president of SAP’s Mobile Products division and executive vice president of Industry Solutions. During his tenure at SAP, he also led the Premier Customer Network organization and built SAP’s award-winning CRM 7.0 product. Before SAP, Stutz was group vice president of engineering at Siebel Systems, responsible for both horizontal and vertical applications. Before Siebel, he held senior leadership positions with Intrepid Systems and Sybase.

Prior to his enterprise software career, Bob had a 22-year distinguished career in the United States Army. He holds a bachelor’s degree in government Eastern European studies from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in human resources, organization development, from Chapman University.
