European nonprofits of all shapes and sizes are needed more than ever in their communities, as we all deal with the effects of the current crisis. During these unprecedented times, nonprofits must pivot to address fundraising challenges, change how they deliver programs and prepare for new ways to engage and operate in the future.

That’s why we’re excited today to announce new innovations in Salesforce.org Nonprofit Cloud that will help nonprofits fund and run their missions in changing times.

New fundraising capabilities

As fundraising strategies shift, our goal is to provide technology that helps you raise more with less effort. Nonprofit Cloud’s new fundraising capabilities are designed to help nonprofits better connect with supporters across channels, maximise staff productivity, and ensure transparency between fundraising and finance with these solutions:

  • New Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) free enhancements that include Gift Entry and Recurring Donations. Gift Entry helps users enter batch and single gifts into Salesforce in a way that is accurate, fast and flexible. The result is nonprofit staff spend less time entering gifts, and can be confident that complex gifts have the right attributions. Recurring Donations offers a more efficient way for nonprofits to manage regular gifts and helps better forecast revenue.

  • Accounting Subledger is a new innovation that brings fundraising and finance together.  It helps ensure consistent revenue, payment and accounting data across fundraising and financial systems, with customised templates for 10 leading accounting systems such as Quickbooks, FinancialForce, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Financial Edge, Exact and more.

These new capabilities are available now in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and they are available in the following languages: Accounting Subledger is available in English, Spanish, French and German. Gift Entry and Recurring Donations are available in English, Spanish, French, German and Dutch. For payment services in global currencies and online fundraising tools, please see the Salesforce AppExchange. To find out more about our EMEA specific fundraising solution see here

Reach more communities in need with new program management solutions

We’ve also added two new program management innovations in Nonprofit Cloud that empower staff to provide meaningful care even during this time of crisis:

  • Nonprofit Cloud Case Management supports small to medium-sized nonprofits as they work to scale personalised care to clients on a platform that helps them track services, case plans, notes, incidents, assessments and outcomes. By having all key information on a single system, service providers can manage a large caseload of clients and collaborate on service delivery.

  • Program Management Module is additional program management functionality we’ve added to NPSP that provides a standard framework for nonprofits to organise and manage their program data in Salesforce regardless of volume or complexity. The module will change the way nonprofits track any type of program, service or client moving from paper and spreadsheets to a technology platform, helping to visualise all offerings and how clients and beneficiaries engage with the services they need.

“We were really pleased to be invited to be a part of the pilot and play a small part in the development of a product that will have such an impact on the way nonprofits like ourselves work,” said Russell Cable, Data Systems Manager, Thomas Pocklington Trust. “We have been looking for a solution like this; nothing else comes close. Having the ability to more efficiently manage mid- to long-term cases and programmes will make such a difference to our organisation and allow our case workers to save time on admin and focus their attention where it really matters, supporting our service users.”

These new capabilities are also available now in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and available in the following languages: English, Spanish, French, German and Dutch.

We are in this together

Our nonprofit community has weighed in to help us build the most needed solutions as operating models shift, funding is stretched thin, staff become acquainted with remote services and play catch-up with postponed or delayed programs and events. We are grateful to have the continued opportunity to support them as we build and offer these new solutions.
