Over the past few weeks, we’ve been collating entries to this year’s Blaze a Trail to Dreamforce contest - a unique opportunity for someone from the Salesforce UK & Ireland community to win a VIP trip to Dreamforce in San Francisco, where they will act as our social media ambassador. 

We wanted a way to recognise and reward our local Trailblazers for their passion and enthusiasm for all things Salesforce, and find a way to showcase these inspiring individuals. So, we were thrilled to have received 27 entries to the contest this year, which we’ve just had the most enjoyable task of reviewing! 

 

The Judging

The judging was based around four key criteria - creativity, originality, capturing key themes, portraying key messages - each with an equal 25% weighting.

We had four judges here at Salesforce and also, for the second year running, a leading expert in the world of social meda content - Doug Kessler, Co-founder and Creative Director at Velocity Partners. 

We were amazed by the quality and creativity of the entries, and want to say a massive thank you to everyone who participated! Check out all the Twitter entries in this Twitter Moment (there are a few others on LinkedIn & Instagram too if you search for #blazeatrailcontest) 

The scoring was very close, with just a few points separating many entries, but the rankings revealed three finalists which will now go to the public vote on Twitter for the community to decide who will win the trip to Dreamforce.

What happens next?

There can be only one winner of the grand prize, so now we turn it over to you - the trusted Salesforce community - to decide who will board that plane in November to represent our community and become the UK & Ireland social media ambassador at Dreamforce! 🇬🇧 🇮🇪
