As the Salesforce Ireland leader, I’m extremely proud that Salesforce has been named the #2 Best Workplace in Ireland! This award is especially meaningful because it’s an incredible recognition of the effort we put into providing a work environment where all of our people can be themselves and thrive every day. We focus our energy on creating a Great Place to Work because we know that our employees are at the core of our success as a company.

And at the core of what makes our company a “best workplace” is our culture, which centres around the concept of “Ohana”. Ohana means “family” in Hawaiian and represents the idea that we are all responsible for each other. It’s a deep-seated support system that we nurture inside our company that extends to our customers, partners and communities.

As members of the #SalesforceOhana, it is each of our employees’ personal responsibility to live our values – Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, Giving Back, Equality, Wellness, Growth, Transparency and Fun – and to bring our culture to life in all that we do.

This second Great Place to Work award shows we have been doing many things right when it comes to creating a workplace that attracts and retains great people. We’ve learned a lot along the way, but know there is no finish line when it comes to culture, so we are excited to keep evolving, as the way we work and live evolves.

What’s it like to work at Salesforce? Here’s what members of our Dublin team have to say:

We’re intentional about our culture because we know it’s what makes Salesforce such a unique and wonderful place to work. It’s the beating heart of our organisation, and I believe it’s the secret to our success.

Simply put: we all understand that commitment and care defines how we do business, and we appreciate that we are all working together to achieve something greater than ourselves. How can you not feel inspired and engaged in an environment like that?

And, our future looks bright: the ecosystem built around Salesforce is forecasted to drive more than $59 billion of impact to the GDP in Western Europe and 316,714 new jobs in the region from end of 2015 to end of 2020, and with that kind of growth, comes opportunity!

If this sounds like a place you’d like to work, you’re in luck because we’re hiring.
