Our first-ever Dreamforce to You: Trailblazer Talks is just around the corner. Streaming on 23 September, it’s an action-packed event filled with inspiring stories of success, transformation, and resilience from Trailblazers across India. One of the most anticipated sessions is Impact from Anywhere – a timely conversation on how businesses, non-profits, and individuals are finding new ways to make a difference, no matter where they are.

During the Covid-19 pandemic,  united by a common crisis, people are reaching out across geographical boundaries, language barriers, and class divides to help those who are suffering. During the lockdowns we had, corporates and non-profits joined forces with governments to procure medical supplies, build isolation centres, and provide food security to the vulnerable.

Much of this collaboration was enabled by technology. Through virtual fund-raising platforms, anyone from anywhere could donate to COVID-19 relief efforts. Through social media, people could conduct vaccine awareness campaigns, source oxygen concentrators for the sick, and engage in neighbourhood volunteering efforts.

Our own Salesforce 24/7 helpline saw more than 2,000 employees from India and abroad joining hands to help other employees and their families find hospital beds, COVID-19 testing information, quarantine facilities, and more.

We all have the power to create positive social change from anywhere. And at Trailblazer Talks, we’re excited to highlight three real-life heroes who are leading the change:

Rekha Srinivasan, CEO of United Way of Hyderabad brings a non-profit perspective to the table. With 20+ years of pan-India experience in community development work, Srinivasan is an expert at building sustainable, robust, and value-driven non-profit organisations. She is passionate about championing women’s rights, and creating livelihoods for the poor.

Sanket Atal, SVP and Managing Director, Sites at Salesforce India, looks at philanthropy through a corporate lens. Atal is driving the next phase of growth for Salesforce India, and making the company a global hub of talent and innovation. He was previously a Managing Director at Intuit which was recognised as one of the best places to work at, both for women and LGBTQ+ communities.

Gaganshree, 9th grade student at Anjana Vidya Kendra rounds out the panel with a first-hand account of how learning has changed during the pandemic. Hailing from a small farming family on the outskirts of Bangalore, Gaganshree is an exceptional student with strong leadership skills. She aspires to be a role model for all the children in her community.

Join us for an inspiring conversation with these three Trailblazers as they discuss how the paradigm of giving has changed, and how technology can be harnessed to amplify social impact.
