The Salesforce Events App

If you haven’t already, download the Salesforce Events App. Once on the ground, it’s the best way to stay informed of anything and everything happening at Dreamforce, with session details, maps, walking directions, ways to get social, plus more.

We’ve also added some cool new features to the app this year, including the AI-powered help bot, Ask Einstein, and a new navigator tool that creates a Dreamforce experience tailored for you. Click through to find the app for iOS and the Android app.

5 sessions you don’t want to miss

Each year, the world’s most innovative minds come to Dreamforce to inspire, excite and motivate our Trailblazers. This year’s no exception. We’ve cherry-picked some of the key sessions from the Dreamforce 2018 line-up that you should not miss:

  1. Dreamforce Opening Keynote: A Celebration of Trailblazers – join Salesforce Chairman and Co-CEO, Marc Benioff, to learn how Trailblazers like Brunello Cucinelli, Unilever, Marriott and United Way are transforming their businesses, and making the world a better place in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

  2. Fireside chats: Over the four days, Marc Benioff will be hosting exclusive conversations with some special guests. Occupying the Dreamforce hot seat will be ABB President and CEO Ulrich Spiesshofer, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, and Dropbox Co-Founder and CEO Drew Houston.

  3. The Global Sustainability Revolution: A Conversation with Al Gore – former Vice President of the United States and accomplished environmental evangelist Al Gore will discuss how global sustainability is fundamentally reshaping business to protect our planet for future generations.

  4. Personal Empowerment Keynote: Take part in a powerful and inspiring discussion of wellness, and discover how to develop personal success, starting from within. Leading the conversation will be entrepreneur Arianna Huffington, world-renowned spiritual teacher Deepak Chopra, music superstar Jewel and mindfulness guru Jack Kornfield.

  5. Dreampitch 2018: Eight entrepreneurs will pitch their startups to a panel of industry luminaries and expert judges. And we're taking ‘elevator pitch’ seriously - they'll each have the time it takes to ride up 61 floors in the elevator of San Francisco’s new Salesforce Tower. Three will go through to the grand final, with US$250,000 up for grabs.

… and 3 things you must-do

  1. Network – Dreamforce is one big networking opportunity, where you can make plenty of new friends and reconnect with old ones.

  2. Attend Dreamfest 2018 – prepare for an epic Wednesday evening at Dreamfest. This year’s concert will be headlined by one of the biggest and most influential acts in musical history – Metallica – and all proceeds will benefit UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

  3. Celebrate diversity and give back – every day of Dreamforce brings opportunities to give back and make the world a more equal place, including our 2018 Equality Summit.

What to pack

If you’re still in the process of packing your suitcase, don’t forget to bring comfortable walking shoes. The Dreamforce campus is big and, while there are shuttle buses, there’ll be lots of walking to and from sessions and catch ups.

The San Francisco weather is notoriously unpredictable, so pack plenty of layers. It’s also almost always cool in the evening – definitely bring a jacket for the Dreamfest concert, which will be held outside.

As for technology, you may prefer an iPad or tablet, rather than carrying a heavy laptop around. Whatever you bring, just don’t forget your charger and US adaptors!

#DF18: Get social!

You can bet there will be a tonne of learning and fun shared on social. So whether you’re at Dreamforce or playing along at home, join the conversation on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, using the hashtags #DF18 and #TrailblazerCommunity.

And if you can’t get enough of Astro, Einstein and friends, they’re available as Dreamoji. In the app, augmented reality and custom stickers bring the Salesforce characters to life like never before. Get the Dreamoji app from the iOS App Store or Android Google Play today!
