There’s only a few more hours until Salesforce World Tour 2018 – and we can’t wait to welcome all of the Trailblazers from our Salesforce Ohana to the International Convention Centre (ICC). Here’s everything you need to know to have an unforgettable day.

If this is your first-time at World Tour, you can expect to be inspired, challenged and educated. If you’ve been before, you know what’s in-store and are no doubt itching with excitement.

This fun, crazy, action-packed day can be a lot to take in. But, don’t fear, we’re here to help! To ensure you have the most successful day possible, here’s all the essential info.

Your Salesforce World Tour e-ticket

Your e-ticket will hit your inbox tomorrow morning (that’s Tuesday 6 March – the day of World Tour). You see, we don’t want everyone digging back through months of emails to find it, so it will be at the very top of your inbox, when you need it. And if you opted in to receive SMS when you registered, you’ll get your ticket via SMS.

Having your e-ticket showing on your mobile device upon arrival will speed up your entry into the event. But… if you drop your phone off the side of a ferry on your way to the ICC, relax. As long as you’ve registered, we’ve got you. Of course, you’ll still have dropped your phone off the side of a ferry. Sorry about that.

Getting to the ICC

The best taxi/Uber drop-off and pick-up locations are Iron Wharf Place and Zollner Circuit, Haymarket, both accessed via Darling Drive.

No kidding, the ICC is a big venue. Salesforce World Tour entrances are on the Boulevard/Tumbalong Park side of the building. There are more tips for getting to the venue and the closest parking on the ICC site.

You’ve probably already let us know about any accessibility requirements you have, but the ICC is fully accessible, and there’s baby change facilities. Find out more about accessibility on our FAQs page.

Check-in is from 8am

Once you’ve made your way to the ICC, head straight up to check-in on Level 4. Here you’ll get your lanyard and pass, which you’ll need to access the sessions and different zones.

On Level 4, you can also cloak your belongings so you aren't lugging them around for the day. If you have luggage, we’ll need you to cloak it for the day – you know, security and all that.

Speaking of security, it’s our priority to ensure a safe environment for everyone attending World Tour. As such, there will be security measures for attendees, including bag checks and metal detectors – just so you’re aware.

World Tour dress code

Did we mention it’s going to be a massive day? Just a few times? Well you know just how important comfy shoes are then – especially with an expo that spans two levels this year.

While business casual is the official word on dress code, we want you to be comfortable first and foremost. If that means wearing your Hawaiian shirt, we won’t say no!

Share your #SalesforceTour experience

Don’t forget to share all your World Tour learnings, insights and fun with your colleagues and the world! Join the conversation on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, using the hashtag #SalesforceTour, and tag us in @salesforceapac (Twitter), @salesforceapac (Instagram), /salesforceanz (Facebook) and /salesforce (LinkedIn).

We’ll be resharing our favourite posts throughout the day!

Make sure you have a clear plan

World Tour is across five floors of the ICC, with 125+ sessions and an expo packed with the latest tech, so you’ll want to plan your day. Most of the action is on levels one and four, and there’s a great quiet zone on level three for when you and your devices need a recharge.

To help you have the most successful day, we’ve created an agenda tailored just for you and built an app to make sure your day runs smoothly. Download the Salesforce Events App, which includes personalised agendas, session details and ways to get social. You can find the app for iOS here and the Android app here.

To use the app, you’ll need to grab your unique registration code from an email we sent you after you registered – search your inbox for the subject line ‘Plan your day with the Salesforce Events App’.

Haven’t registered?

Unfortunately, registration is now closed and we have a full house. But the next best thing is catching the action streamed straight to your device from 8:30am with Salesforce LIVE.

For those that have registered, get some rest and we’ll see you bright and early tomorrow for an action-packed day.
