Tuesday night at Dreamforce 2013 was gala night, with Blondie and Green Day at AT&T park. True to the forecast the weather was spectacularly bad - it didn't just rain, it poured! But, in the spirit of Dreamforce, regardless of the weather, it was another amazing night!

Undeterred by the downpour, people rushed the stage in disposable rain coats, under umbrellas. I got there in time to hear Debbie Harry sing Atomic and Heart of Glass - amazing!

The umbrellas got kicked to the floor when Green Day fired up and the crowd was pumped - a sea of jumping blue and white rain hoods. Billie Joe Armstrong was a true rock star even when the storm messed with the sound system, keeping the party going by encouraging the crowds to sing up.  There must have been a few missing voices the next day!

The highlight for me was towards the end when Billie Joe did an acoustic solo - one man and a guitar singing "Wake Me Up When September Ends" - definitely a goosebumps moment.

By the time I got onto the coach my coat was drenched on the inside and my shoes full of water - I felt like I'd been night swimming instead of to a UCSF benefit concert. But, it's my most memorable Dreamforce Gala yet.

If you're looking for the perfect opportunity to hear the latest from Dreamforce 2013 including The Internet of Customers, why not check out our Customer Company Roadshow here in December? I can't promise a Billie Joe solo, but good times are defenitely on the agenda!
