Often people expect the insurance industry to be laggards in areas like social, and for some segments this is often the case. However there are a bunch of great examples of highly engaged brands both domestically and internationally that are realising the benefit of being in the world of their customers.
In this webinar we looked at some of these examples and the drivers of demand for social from different departments including Brand, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Claims and Underwriting.
Ultimately insurance organisations need to move from siloed efforts to an enterprise social strategy and to think holistically about their distribution chain.
