If you struggle to get anyone from the salesforce.com marketing team in Australia on the phone for the next four weeks, it will help you to know that its only four weeks to go before Cloudforce Sydney  at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre (Bayside) in Darling Harbour.  With 2,000 delegates expected, more than 20 Breakout sessions and over 30 partners exhibiting in the Expo, this will be the largest Cloudforce yet.  So we've all got a bit on!

But despite all the work and stress, we're so thrilled to welcome salesforce.com co-founder and Executive Vice President of Technology, Parker Harris to Sydney for the Keynote.  Parker helped found the company in 1999 with CEO Marc Benioff, Dave Moellenhoff, and Frank Dominguez and today oversees all aspects of software development for the company.  It's Parker's first visit down under and so we're all looking forward to saying "G'day", shouting him a VB and throwing a shrimp on the barbie for him...mate.

Together with Parker, we're also thrilled to welcome Vivek Kundra back to Australia.  Vivek has obviously fallen for the place as he was only here in February!  Vivek took to The Lucky Country quite effortlessly on his last visit - as this interview on Lateline Business shows - and injected some real value and common sense into the technology debate here.  (For those that don't recognise the name, Vivek used to serve as the CIO of a small outfit called the US Government reporting to a bloke called Obama.)

Cloudforce Sydney is just one stop in the Social Enterprise World Tour that began after Dreamforce in August 2011, taking the Social Enterprise message around the world.  It's been to New York, Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC., San Francisco and hits London next week.  Anyone thats been to Dreamforce will attest to the enthusiasm and near-festival atmosphere that those three days in San Francisco every year can be.  Cloudforce is designed to re-create a taste of that.  So we hope to be able to do the same here in Sydney, like we did last year!

As well as the Keynote and Breakout Sessions, some of our partners will demonstrate their Social wares at the Cloudforce Expo with a particular focus on how they fit into the Social Enterprise Vision.  Most prominent of all will be Platinum Sponsor, Accenture - to whom we are very grateful for their support.

There will also be a Social Media Lounge to help small business better understand how to use Social within their business, with rolling demonstrations and classes from the Radian6 team.  Twitter junkies will be able to keep track of the #cloudforce conversation on Twitter by watching the Social Media Command Centre which will use the latest Radian6 Social Media Monitoring software to follow the tread.
